Default An IMB Substitute (there will, of course, never be another IMB!)

Hi - anyone still here? :-)

Just felt the need to pop back...

The closest I've come to the enjoyment I had from reading IMBs science fiction novels is that of reading Ann Leckie's Imperial Radch trilogy (I usually avoid trilogies but not in this case). She has a new novel arriving in October called Provenance and when I read the blurb I thought to myself, sounds just like a Banks!

Seems a little pricey for a Kindle edition so I'll keep an eye on it via eReaderIQ for a bit.

Anyway, when I spotted it and remembered IMB, I felt the urge to pop back here and mention it.

Drop by occasionally. Enjoyed Leckie's books.

I have read the first one and it was all a bit Culture-lite for me.
