    Just seen the news... think it should make a good adaptation. Certainly less chance of a screw up as say with a much weirder novel with stronger imagary and characters like The Wasp Factory; the adapters have more room to add their own spin.

    pre ordered, ,I will arrive back in ireland the end of may so sending it there, being a bit cheaper than posting to the finnish lands.

    Plus as always buying copies of this may persuade more poeple to option and make other books.

    Most online retailers (with a couple of notable exceptions, Amazon and the BBC Shop) have the Stonemouth DVD being released on 8th June rather than the first publicised date of 20th April. So in the wake of the deafening silence from the makers I am now expecting the television broadcasts to be at the end of May.
    It makes the new edition of the paperback (ISBN: 9780349141466) out on 21st May look like a tv-tie.
