    Question Least favourite non M

One I probably find a lot easier to tye about but which is your least favourite non M, I actually rather like song of stone and amm somewhat torn between canal dreams (far too pedestrian and mainstream) and the business (although I enjoyed reading it the first tie, I have pretty much zero desire to pick it up and read it again.

    So, thoughts?

Sorry, I can't see any way to change the poll either, other than deleting it and starting again. Admin may be able to do something.

umm riight, in that case I will say I am excluding the quarry on the grounds that nobody would be gauche enough to vote Iains last book as their least favourite.

    Everybody happy?

I've tried & failed to edit the poll too, seems odd that it can't be changed.

Voted for Canal Dreams, had some promise with the cello but didn't amount to anything

I haven't read ' Canal Dreams ' as of yet though I possess all of Iain's non SF works - I voted for ' The Business ' as I didn't feel there was much of a story there and thought he was going through the motions a bit .

Canal Dreams has some good moments, but over all is a bit weak (but at least it's short )

I'm on my 8th Iain Banks novel , I've started midway through his works from ' Complicity' downwards so to speak , out of those it would have to be ' The Business ' that was my least favourite .
