Default The Wasp Factory - Music Theatre - Royal Opera House, London - October 2013

Performance details have been released for what looks to be the first part of a sporadic tour after the premiere in Bregenz in August, see: http://www.iainbanksforum.net/showthread.php?744

There are six shows in the Linbury Studio between Wednesday 2nd October and Tuesday 8th October (not Sunday). Tickets are available if you are a Friend of Covent Garden, otherwise they go on sale on 9th July.

Looking at the co-production details I am expecting it will be staged at the Holland Festival, and Cork Midsummer festival in 2014.

I am expecting further performances in Berlin, Amsterdam, Cork and Madrid, but nothing else in the UK. But, you never know.

Berlin tonight, tomorrow and Sunday. See: http://english.hebbel-am-ufer.de/pro...-wasp-factory/
More tickets have been released for London dates next week: http://www.roh.org.uk/productions/th...y-by-ben-frost
Next year it should be at the Holland Festival in Amsterdam and the Cork Midsummer Festival which will be all that organisations that have been involved as co-producers.
    After that, who knows.

I'd love to see the one on the 8th, but it's my birthday & I've already got tickets to a prog rock fest that weekend. Ohh well I'll endure

So it opened in London last night. A review (that I think gets a few things wrong about the production) from The Independent is at: http://www.independent.co.uk/arts-entertainment/classical/features/the-wasp-factory-an-opera-with-murder-in-its-heart-and-a-sting-in-its-tale-8851978.html
