Default Transition - The Extras App

The Bookseller is reporting there will be a Transition App launched when the paperback comes out. It will have extras such as "unseen chapters and character biographies" as well as "an author commentary and his original notes and plan for the novel"

    Just get yourself an Ifone...

    Would it work with Android?

So product endorsement for the Ifone...?

    The app sounds very interesting.

The content sounds very interesting, just not worth spending a kings ransom on an iphone for. If I'm lucky I guess my teenage son might lend me his ipod touch to play it on.

It could be a written commentary.

It could be almost anything. I imagine they only called it a commentary because they're billing this as analogous to DVD extras.

If it's all written, why don't they just stick the extra pages at the back of the book. Or if there's an audio/video element stick it on YouTube or somewhere like that. Then a lot more people can have access to it.

Or even better, just add it into this here website thing.
