    Default What are you watching now?

    We don't seem to have a thread for this one yet.

    At the moment I'm watching "The Comic Strip Presents". Trying to work my way through from the start. On ep 5 at the moment, out of 39.

    So far:
    1) Five go Mad in Dorset. A take on the "Famous Five" stories. Not bad
    2) War. A kind of near future, post society breakdown SF story. Weird but good
    3) The Beat Generation. Bunch of hippies trying to be cool. Not bad
    4) Bad News on Tour. Spinal Tap, but released earlier. Excellent
    5) Summer School. The 1st one I ever saw, years back. Good

    Over all, the episodes are amazingly diverse so far (I couldn't see anything like this being made today), they are all pretty strange in their own ways. Although I have to say, I'm not finding most of it all that funny.

    The Prisoner, episodes Living in Harmony & The Girl who was Death.

    I know it's been said before many times but - totally insane genius.

    No wonder the series is still talked about 40 years later...

    Northern Exposure , series 5, slowly working my way through them all.

    Torchwood. I faced down the Daleks, I held my nerve against the Cybermen, I laughed at the Loch Ness Monster but I have to say Captain Jack getting stuck into some young buck does make my eyes water a bit...

    Glad to have 'Match of the Day' back on a saturday night.
    'Sirens' was good; Ice road Truckers;
    And of course, now that BB is on again, they'll be no escape.
