Yeah, me too. They made quite a decent stab at that, I think.
I think that Watchmen will turn out to be a good movie, too. Maybe not exactly shot for page, but they're trying very hard to keep as close to the spirit as possible, from what I've seen.

Watched the Borat film last night. Some good bits.
Watched Transformers today and enjoyed it.
Lurker at the threshold
Spent Monday morning slumped on the sofa and watched the Hitchock double bill on BBC2 - Suspicion and Notorious! Joan Fontaine was so wet in Suspicion I wanted to slap her.
Anyway, they got me hooked back on old black and white films, so I had to record the last hour of Dangerous Moonlight yesterday morning as I was going out (come on a pianist who becomes a fighter pilot in WWII and gets amnesia, who could resist?) - looking forward to watching it later, after Spellbound.
Still to drag myself into the modern day - I watched most of V fo Vendetta when it was on a few days ago. Quite enjoyed it - it seemed quite lightheartedwhen I first tuned in (V cooking eggs in that get up looked quite comical to me anyway) but got very 1984 after a while.
Oh, and I've just caught up with the rest of the world and seen all the Lord of the Rings films. I loved them. Particularly Aragorn.![]()

Extended versions or standard theatrical?

I think Claire likes Aragorn's Extended Version, if you know what I mean and I think you do...
