    only 10 books a year? I go trhough that many in a month...
    Finished "fall of hyperion". Based on what Iäve read Iäm not bothering with endymon or the other one in audio format, might read them at some point. Right now Iäm readin gGalaxy's edge" a short story colleciton magazine, available DRM free from www.weightlessbooks.com-

    It's weird. I would read 15 novels a week at age 14. Now I fill my hours with other stuff mostly. I walk more, have regular evenings for gaming, and try to do more things with the missus, viz weekly badminton, pub dates, events (we did son's graduation, Silverstone and the ashes in July). Something has to give, and it's TV and reading seemingly.

    Iäm a single man in his mid 40s living in Finland, I Ingress, study, watch tv and game but I still read, I read with my ears while ingressing, read in bed, in the loo, on the bus when travelling, but always, always reading. I suppose with no wife and no children and no cats at present, I do other stuffs.

    Hmmm yes, wife, child, cat & job don't help on the mass reading front either

    As a guy in his mid fourties working full time with partner + 2 small children, proper reading can only be done when secluded in the loo. Figure 20 mins per session x 7 days yielding 140 mins per week on average means a 500 page novel takes a month at least
