Will be getting the Traders and Barbarians of Catan and it's 5&6 player expansion at the weekend.
To go along with the original Settlers of Catan, Cities & Knights of Catan and Seafarers of Catan, and their respective 5&6 player expansions, that I already own.
This is sure too end the current argument raging over Agricola and Puerto Rico.
I've all but given up on Powergrid because I keep wanting to use wind and loose all the time to those co2 spewing coal plants. Gits.

Anybody else into Eurogames?

My girlfriend gave me Transformers Risk (http://www.boardgamegeek.com/game/27961) for christmas.... which is one of many reasons why I will marry her.

I used to play a lot of Axis & Allies and Shogun with my mates, when we still had time and didn't feel too embarrassed about it.

Ha ha. My girlfriend also gave me Transformers Risk for Winterval.
She had never played Risk before and went about thrashing me twice. I dont think I'll be playing her again for a while. Need to retreat and lick my wounds. So i have decided she will probably like Magic The Gathering. Which I am better at.

Does the transforming board make much of a difference to the game?
Axis and allies is fun, lots of rules, but Memoir 44 is better, pieces abilities controlled by cards played per piece. It's the closest I've found to Azad.

Judge Dredd the Board game is one of the best fun evenings to be had between four ageing 2000ad fans!

Ha-ha. You play the Judge Dredd card on Judge Death comitting murder thinking you've just netted the maximum 20 points only for some git to play the Edwin Parsey card on you. Brilliant!
