Happy new year folks!
I was in the pub for 5pm and got home about 9.30. I tried to watch some TV but had to retire at about 10.30. I woke up to the sound of fireworks and basically missed the whole thing:p.

Happy New Year from me too.

Spent the night indoors, getting calls and text messages and trying to find something entertaining to watch whilst avoiding the special new year programmes which always seem dire. Ended up with repeats of Green Wing and Airplane!. I must have seen that film over 20 times!

Went out to a friends house avec famille, got a little tipsy, staggered home, watched Stalin on TV, which shows how 'tipsy' I was, fell asleep, woke up, went to bed, woke up at 10:30.

Feel great now!

Weirdly - and unusually! - for me the work days passed quite quickly but it does seem to have been a long time since Monday. Trudging up and down the road in the freezing cold and mist hasn't helped. Still, Friday - woohoo!
