View Full Version : The drugs don't work (yes they do).
I'm not a smackhead or anything, and I'm not addicted to substances, but I do like drugs, I can't help it.
Recently I was taking DF 118s on a daily basis, using my frozen shoulder as an excuse, but the supply ran out, so I just had to get on with it. I had one sleepless night with the restless legs thing but got thru it thanks to willpower (and alcohol).
I used to take loads of E's but hated the come-downs, so I stopped that.
Acid? I've only taken a few times but found the trip lasted too long.
Coke? never really had any decent stuff, so no comment.
Speed/Base, yeah, yeah, yeah...All nighters, tastes like baking soda, waste of money.
So now all I do is alcohol, it's the one true leveller.

Yep, just booze here too.
Many friends tried various drugs as I was growing up (especially weed & mushrooms). Never really appealed to me though.
I've seen too many people f##ked up by 'harmless' drugs, I'm afraid, to have anything but a negative view of them anymore.
Seeing a teenager so paranoid from weed that they attack their parents with a knife, for example (this did not happen to me personally, but to someone I know well), tends to colour ones judgement.

The only way to know whether you can take or leave them or whether they'll ruin your life is to take them.
I'm fine with not knowing, the junkies round my neck of the woods are not exactly adverts for healthy living if you catch my drift.
Yeah CB know what you mean, there are some right wrecks around here to.
But I think I'll die from alcohol abuse rather than the drugs I take, or took.
(takes another large slug of voddy and coke).
I'm strong willed, but not strong enough to stop the booze.
'Tis the devils brew and he's got a large vat bubbling with some more evil concoctions.

But I know I'll see your face again ...
Oh Baby!
1.45 and I'm still alive.
Bumped into a few walls and staggered into many a kebab shop, incoherrent taxi ride home, how did I get here?
'Am I nearly there yet?'

Amazing how fuzzy that last trip home can be isn't it

It's not will unfortunately, it's tolerance.

would you mind being taxed if pot was legalised?

I can relate to this
Omeprazole - never worked
Lansoprazole - worked for about 3 months, then seemed to be less effective
Pantoprazole - still working after 6 weeks
okay, so maybe this thread isn't really about prescription drugs :)

Good question, if I couldn't get any from my local source and was desperate enough, then yeah I'd pay the extra.
A good thing about legalising it would be the quality and variety would improve.
In the 'good old days' we had; red seal, gold seal, leb, paki black, double zero and other weird stuff, you took what was there, but now all you get is 'rocky'.
The odd bit of good grass becomes available now and then and just recentely I got hold of some 'pollen'
If I was an MP I'd claim for it on my expenses.

Plenty of pollen in our garden
Yeah, but not the right kind.

Did it for me straight away.
Otherwise it's just the booze ;)

Caffeine, especially when served as expresso.

Adrenalin, Endorphins and large quantities of alcohol
3 Df118s, large amount of vodka and a pipe of dope. I feel like an extra from a Zombie movie.
20 mg of Tensium...nighty night, I am the rubber man.
All the medication is finished, am of the booze and spliffs.
Now to find something to do with my time rather than just gaze into the abyss.
