The idea being you post some of your fav things on a Thursday (not what's fav on a Thursday but general fav things)

So to kick off:

My children laughing. Horses wickering for their breakfast. Glenmorangie. Waves crashing in a storm. Kite flying. Galloping. Books

Aaaah, I'm classical and Lantin with some modern jive as well.
Often like going to night clubs with some of the other dancers and absolutely owning the dance floor :-)
Anything with a 4/4 rhythm is perfect.
Once took them to a goth new metal club, the music had a 4/4 rhythm so we went for it :-)
That was a fun Thursday.

Playing with my mates on the xbox.
Them laughing at my tunes on the uke.
Smoking good quality grass and falling about the place in hysterics for no apparent reason.

I can't dance, the perfect dance accessory for me is an ambulance on standby, even Beloved was appalled the first time we danced.

I put Toby Mac, Get The Party Started playing on iTunes. It's the first track of a special play list.
As the base grinds it's adrenaline pumping rhythm I hook the loop in the hand wraps around my thumb and pull the fabric tight across the back of my hand and encircle my wrist. The wrap passes between my each of my fingers in succession each time followed by a circle around the wrist. I pass the wrap over my knuckles, but not to often. I don't want to soften things up to much, and the main purpose of the wrap is to support the wrist.
I take my time, enjoying the motion and the feeling of the binding. In a full Thai rules fight they'd be rope, with knots strategically tied, located over the knuckles.
By the time I've finished both hands the second track is beginning, Creed.

My shorts are a little tight where I've gained some weight over Christmass.
I pull my jogging bottoms over and a hooded top to keep the rain as I jog to the gym.
My shin guards and gloves are in the rucksack I sling over my shoulder as I walk out of the door.

It's fight night.
Time to hurt.

But, but but, we're NOT SUPPOSED TO TALK ABOUT FIGHT CLUB!
